August 27, 2012. Crown Prince Hwon (Yeo Jin Goo) was told by his assistant that the lady who would reach up to the last category in being chosen as a Princess and would not get chosen would forever remain a concubine. But Prince Hwon does not like that to happen. He wanted a fair play in choosing his partner. So, he went to the house of his father, King Sung Jo (Ahn Nae Sang). When he was there, he told his father to make a rule. Prince Hwon said that he was not asking that favor so that he would be able to be with Yeon Woo (Kim Yoo Jung). He is begging because he thinks that it is the right thing. The way that Queen Dowager Jung Hui (Kim Young Ae) made was not right. But King Sung Jo reminded Prince Hwon that it turned to be like that because of what he did. He made up a secret meeting with the lady princess. When Prince Hwon and King Sung Jo were done talking, it was Prince Yang Myung (Lee Min-Ho) who turned up in the house of his father.
He told his father what he wanted. He wanted to have the love of his life. He begged for the hand of Yeon Woo and get married with her after Prince Hwon gets married. But King Sung Jo reminded Yang Myung that he could not force what he wants because Yeon Woo will become a concubine once she is not chosen.
