August 22, 2012. At the Chapel of Christ, the wedding ceremony of Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta) and Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) started. Emily and Marco are both happy during their wedding because Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) was also there secretly. When the wedding ceremony was almost over, Jean/Jane Bonifacio/Montenegro suddenly arrived. Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) then opposed to Marco and Emily's wedding and informed everybody that they can't marry each other because Marco is still married to Jane. Marco, on the other hand, was very angry at Johanna for making him and Emily believe that Jean is Jane. Meanwhile, Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Helen Gamboa) agreed to Johanna and tried to convince Marco that Jean is Jane. Marco, on the other hand, could not believe the revelations but he still asked the Priest to continue the wedding ceremony so that he and Emily are going to be married. Unfortunately, the Priest did not continue the ceremony and informed Marco to settle things within his family first. Later that time, Miguel Ramos (Nonie Buencamino) suddenly arrived with a gun on his hand. Miguel then tried to convince Emily to go with him so that they can live a happy life together forever. Miguel even threatened to kill Marco or one of the Montenegro's family just to have Emily. Marco, on the other hand, couldn't give Emily to Miguel because he knows that Miguel would only hurt Emily. Meanwhile, Emily was willing to surrender herself to Miguel so that nobody won't get hurt and suddenly the authorities arrived. Miguel together with David Conde (Ivan Morales) hurriedly ran away from the authorities.
Miguel and David escaped again, making the Montenegro family and Emily very frightened. Later that time, at the Montenegro's residence, Emily together with Marco and the Montenegro family talked about Johanna's revelation. Margaret then handed Marco the DNA results of Jean which is a proof that she is Jane. Marco and Emily, on the other hand, wanted to make sure that the DNA results is not fake.
